physical drive copy. I was looking for a software that can copy a part or in totally an hard drive and copy it to another one. Sector by sector, whitout looking partition or any File System at all. Review of R-Drive Image Used on a brand new desktop machine with Windows Vista. The program downloaded and installed well. Main problems I encountered were:1) (minor problem) drives don't highlight when clicked upon to choose for backup.2) (major problem) transition from first disk to second disk was very poorly handled by the dialog box. It simply reported that the disk was out of room, said NOTHING about inserting another disk and labeling the first disk with a volume number, and even the choices presented were nebulously labeled...leading to cancellation of the whole process and a waste of my time.3) I downloaded Acronis True ...

Great Program Needed a quick, simple and low cost solution for unpacking ISO files and this baby worked like a charm. I had a cd iso image file and it extracted the files very quickly and efficiently and the program installed and ran perfectly. i'd reccomend this program to anyone, kudos to the developer for making such a simple and very efficient program.

Undisker didn`t Undisk I was trying to retrieve a portion of files from a large DVD image written ISO. The system could not display the files or directories other than the root and a readme. I downloaded another competitor just to see if it was useless, and the files were readable etc. I am sorry but Undisker gets a bad grade.

Disk Checker in Vista Using large fonts for the desktop, the interface is a bit scrambled, but was still usable. (buttons and dialogs in not quite the right place, or partially obscured.Despite that, it worked to reassure that a potentially defective CD from an academic text was in fact fine: problem was the laptop that couldn't read it properly.Needs some work to fix its use in other than standard font size ... I assume that's the issue, but didn't try it out as I was able to make it work ok.

very useful tool Unexperienced laptop user. Managed to finally repair my ill-behaving WD 750 GB disk. Wasn't straightforward, probably (at least partly) due to my missing experience. Needed several attempts, program got stuck several times without clear idea where and why, i.e. without clear error/status info (even 'close window' sometimes didn't work). Finally all fine. --

Very high CPU load This should mount shared folders on net as your local disk. In fact this doesn't work and CPU load is 100%.

Super product and so easy to use. We were able to recover all the photos taken during a trip to the Grand Canyon last April. The SD card became corrupt and unreadable after a camera malfunction.

Photo One I paid for the program but still haven't received the key. I am very disappointed. The company should know that we buy these programs through desperation to get our files/photos back and taking lengthy times to send the license (after taking my money no less) is not good enough.

Awesome!!! This program is awesome!!! My youngest daughter erased our vacation pictures off our camera and we thought they were lost. I found this program and we now have all of our vacation pictures back. It was well worth the price to keep those memories. Thank you!!!!

WinImage is a great tool - doing exactly one thing and doing it right. Easy-to-install, no-nonsense application. Definitely worth the money. If future releases could increase the extraction speed, it would be even better, nevertheless, on a 1-5 scale, a definite 5!

Life Saver As a non technical, self taught fiddler, I lost all the information and programs on my PC. Fortunately I had backed it up which left me with a large VHD file. The company whose backup software program I used have been less than helpful. This program has taken some working out for a non technician but at least I can see all the required data and have successfully recovered some of it which will make total recovery a lot easier. Certainly worth every penny and I will be buying it on principle even though my trial period has some time ...
